Wild and Free
For much of my life, I’ve found myself stuck in the middle of feeling like I’m never enough and too much all at once. I’ve been chained by the words not enough–not pretty enough, or smart enough, or far enough along in my life compared to others. I’ve also believed I’m too much–too loud, too opinionated, too high maintenance, and too selfish.
Can you relate?
God doesn’t want us to live a life of fear–ashamed of our past, afraid of our future, or defeated by our mistakes. He wants us to live wild and free.
My friends Jess Connolly and Hayley Morgan wrote Wild and Free: A hope-filled anthem for the woman who feels she is both too much and never enough, officially available today where books are sold.
After reading Wild and Free, I feel called to live a braver life, free of my past and insecurities, and wild and unafraid in my purpose and passions.
Jess and Hayley alternate chapters, sharing pieces of their stories and offering hope to each reader. You can hear their voices in the words as if they are sitting across the table with you. I’ve included two of my favorite quotes:
You can stop running, stop striving, stop hoping that one day you’ll be the better or best version of yourself. You can walk away from comparison, throw shame in the trash, and stop skipping around worrying about what toes you step on. Because of Jesus, we don’t have to try so hard. // Jess
The moment you first understand rescue, mercy, and grace frees you up for a lifetime of living in freedom. // Hayley
I am confident this book will encourage your heart. I think it would be really fun to read with a friend or group in a book club. To find out more, check out wearewildandfree.com and #wildandfreebook.
